Apparently he missed the article’s main point

Dear Woods-N-Water News:

I suggest that Mr. John Barwikowski (Letters From Our Readers –May 2009) re-read Ed Sutton's article. Wearing his liberal blinders, Mr. Barwikowski apparently missed the article's main point and totally misinterpreted its message. Specifically, that the November election has been good to the gun and shooting industry and that it should lead to an upswing in business for gun clubs and hunting preserves (the topic Mr. Sutton usually writes about).

In his letter, Mr.Barwikowski was highly critical of Mr. Sutton's article and Woods-N-Water, commenting that "Mr. Sutton makes repeated references to the economy falling apart after President Obama took office..." and goes on to state that "I don't like a publication that throws out political barbs and cheap shots."

Such comments by Mr. Barwikowski represent a mean-spirited mischaracterization of the article. For a fact, Mr. Sutton's article contains only one reference to the economy -- he states "…things began to look bleak after the November election for big industry." Furthermore, he did not make a single mention of Barack Hussein Obama or for that matter even use the word President in the whole article.

As to cheap shots and political barbs Mr. Sutton went out of his way to avoid them. Specifically, he did not explain the surge in gun and ammo sales reflects the fact that Obama is the most anti-gun person ever elected to a major public office and whose anti-Second Amendment stance makes Kennedy, Boxer, Schumer, Feinstein, and Pelosi look like pikers.
